Liability Coverage

You can pick the motorcycle insurance coverage that fits your needs. Our companies offer underlying liability limits high enough to satisfy Personal Umbrella requirements. In most states, Guest Passenger liability is offered and can be included at the same limit as your liability selection. Check with your agent to determine your specific coverage.

Medical Coverage

This coverage provides for certain necessary medical expenses for you and any passenger that are the result of an accident.

Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist Coverage

This coverage typically pays for expenses associated with injury or death from an accident caused by an uninsured, underinsured, or hit-and-run driver. It also covers you if you are hit as a pedestrian.

Collision Coverage

Collision coverage pays for damage caused to your vehicle in an automobile accident. Standard collision coverage will pay for any repairs up to the fair market value of your car. Collision coverage usually also comes with an insurance deductible. It’s the amount of money you pay toward repairs before your collision insurance kicks in. The higher the deductible you’re willing to pay, the less the collision coverage will cost. You can also purchase the Collision Waiver of Deductible endorsement which waives the deductible if you are not more than 50% at fault.

Comprehensive Coverage (Other than Collision)

Comprehensive coverage is very similar to collision coverage – the main difference is that comprehensive covers damage to your vehicle caused by any unknown party or “act of God”. Vandalism, flood, hurricane, theft, windshield damage, fire, flying objects such as rocks, etc. are all events usually covered by comprehensive automobile insurance. Like collision, comprehensive will pay up to the fair market value of your car less your insurance deductible. In the event of a glass loss, no deductible will apply. And although it’s not legally required by any state, you will probably need it if your car is financed.
