Commercial Lines – Customer Service Representative/Account Manager – Full-time. This individual will be responsible for servicing an existing book of Commercial Lines accounts. They will manage current clients’ accounts on a day to day basis which includes billing, claims processing, endorsement processing, issuing certificates of insurance, cross selling and making coverage recommendations. This individual will also be responsible for obtaining quotes for new and renewal business. This is a support role in which the CSR will assist an underwriter on the accounts that they handle. They will also be required to maintain client files accurately and consistently; provide proper documentation of files and proper communication to all parties involved.

Job requirements: Bachelors degree or equivalent. Good computer, communication and relationship building skills. Must be a self starter and team player mentality. Would prefer someone with a minimum of two (2) years of commercial lines experience handling small to medium sized accounts, but will also train if inexperienced. Background in AMS agency management systems would be a plus. Candidate should currently have a property and casualty license, or must obtain one within an agreed upon timeframe.

Commercial Lines Underwriter – Full time. This individual will handle small to large Commercial Lines accounts across multiple industries and lines of business. Individual will be responsible for obtaining quotes for new and renewal business. They will manage current clients’ and oversee customer service representative’s account split. Must be able to cross sell, upsell and make coverage recommendations. Individual will also prepare underwriting insurance specifications, assist producer in the selection of markets, and submit applications to markets in a professional and timely manner. They must also maintain quality controls on renewal expirations and binders, identify policies requiring renewal attention and contact client for updated information. Must maintain a high degree of accuracy in agency management system and document management system.

Job requirements: Ideal candidate should have 3-5yrs experience; bachelors degree or equivalent; excellent property and casualty knowledge; and strong communication skills. Also, a good working knowledge of underwriting and pricing risks as well as company underwriting standards and philosophy. Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft products a must. Knowledge of AMS360 is a plus.
